A 'Lacrosse' for 'Lacrosse' - that's the theme for this year's CDLA Car Raffle. All proceeds go towards the CDLA and will help reduce costs for facility rentals, administration and referee costs.
CDLA 2010 Raffle Rules
Monies from the raffle will be used to fund Arena rentals, equipment purchases and related expenses required to run the Minor Lacrosse program of the Calgary District Lacrosse Association.
A maximum of 27,500 tickets will be available @ $ 5 each. A minimum of 8,200 tickets must be sold before CDLA will request a draw date extension from the Alberta Gaming & Liquor Commission.
Prize is a 2010 Buick Lacrosse. (details of which will be posted on www.calgarylacrosse.com) The MSRP for the 2010 Buick Lacrosse is $ 40,170.
Draw will take place July 5, 2010 at the Subway Soccer Center, 7000 - 48 St S.E., Calgary during the CDLA's 34th Annual Canada Day Tournament.
Ticket purchases in person may be paid for by cash or cheque. Cheques must clear CDLA's bank before such tickets are eligible for the draw.
Online ticket purchases at www.calgarylacrosse.com may be paid by VISA or Mastercard.
Tickets Sales Deadlines:
- In person ticket sales paid by cash - deadline is midnight July 3rd,2010.
- In person ticket sales paid by cheque – deadline is midnight June 11, 2010 to allow for bank processing.
- Online ticket sales - deadline is midnight June 11, 2010.
Prize is not transferrable and must be accepted as awarded, there will be no cash substitutes.Licensing and costs related to same are the responsibility of the winner.
Tickets may only be purchased or sold in Alberta
Raffle tickets shall not be sold to a person under 18 years of age.
In the event the winning ticket stub has more than one name on it, the prize will be awarded to the first name of the individuals identified on the ticket. The Calgary District Lacrosse Association is not responsible for any disputes that may arise between the different individuals whose names appear on the ticket stub. Names of persons under 18 year of age shall not appear on any Ticket Stubs, in trust or otherwise.
If any purchased ticket has been entered for the draw, no refund will be issued. The CDLA's liability is limited to the purchase price of the ticket.
The winner will be notified in writing and will have one year from date of draw to claim their prize. The winner's name and City of residence shall be posted on the web at www.calgarylacrosse.com.
