Canada Day Information - Coaches

Information 2026

Games will be scheduled from 4:00pm June 26, 2026 to 3:00 pm on  June 29, 2026.  Please make travel arrangements to ensure you are prepared for the potential of a 4:00pm  start on June 26, 2026 to 3:00 pm on June 29,2026 

Mandatory Coaches/Managers meeting June 26 at 3:30pm and June 27 at 7:30am in the Main building at the Red Card Lounge must attend prior to your first tournament game, if the coach can not attend please send another team representative. 

 
All coaches must be certified to Canadian Lacrosse Association minimum standards, or the equivalent certification from the national governing body of the country your team represents. 
 
Please ensure that each player has proof of age with them.

Buses can not stop in the front of the building, please have your bus wait elsewhere until your team is all together and waiting at the front, then call your driver for pickup.
 
No team warm-up is permitted in the the soccer centre, Outdoor Field TBA will be available for team warm up
 
A delay of game will be assessed if your team is not on the floor 3 minutes after allotted start time. Clock may be dropped within the last five minutes to 2 minutes of play to stay on schedule. 

After each game, teams are to shake hands. Once done, have your players line up on their respective white lines. You will be asked to choose a player from your team who most deserves the game MVP award (ring) and another player to receive the sportsmanship award (Kona Kindness Award). Players can only win this award once throughout the tournament.
